Primates' World Relief and Development Fund has changed its name to Alongside Hope.
Taken from the website: the work of Alongside Hope is all about an active hope rooted in faith. Each time we direct our energies into both grand and subtle acts we spread hope across the world, with the power to transform lives. Thanks to your support of Alongside Hope, the world is a better place with individuals and communities which experience profound and dramatic change for the better.
Smallhold farmers, often among the world's most vulnerable, confront the impacts of climate change, lack of educational opportunities, and insufficient healthcare. Alongside Hope works with its partners to back projects like conservation agriculture, while also reinforcing healthcare systems and dismantling barriers so everyone can flourish.
In Canada, Alongside Hope is committed to supporting programs which protect and revitalize Indigenous cultural heritage, and urgent issues like access to clean water. Building on a longstanding tradition of compassionate action that began with the Springhill, Nova Scotia mine disaster in 1958, Alongside Hope established a special fund to address emergencies within Canada - like the 2024 wildfires.

Alongside Hope now accepts e-transfers! It’s a quick, easy and secure way to send your gift. Here’s how:

 

• Set up Alongside Hope in your online banking as a payee, using the email address etransfer@alongsidehope.org.

• Choose Alongside Hope from your list of payees and fill in the amount you’d like to give.

• In the memo field, add your mailing address, phone number and email address. This is very important, so that we can properly record your gift and send you a tax receipt.
