The Altar Guild will be grateful for your donations towards decorating the church for Harvest Thanksgiving.

Colourful Pumpkins, gourds, vegetables, potted Chrysanthemums, Fresh Flowers or a monetary donation!

There will be a basket in the church to receive your monetary donations, all others can be drop by the church on

1 September marks the beginning of the Season of Creation and is observed by many Christians as Creation Day.

The Feast of Creation in Christ may be celebrated on 1 September or on the first Sunday in September.

While many churches mark this season through worship and prayer, individuals, families and small groups can also take part through personal prayer, reflection and Bible study.

Something to Ponder:🤔

Jesus said, “Consider the lilies, how they grow.”

How often do we actually stop and consider the world God has created?

This week, take a few moments to notice something in creation that you might normally pass by — a changing leaf, a bird in flight, the evening sky, the sound of the wind, or a flower still blooming as summer gives way to fall.

What might that small part of creation reveal to you about God?

And then ask yourself:

How might gratitude for God’s creation inspire me to care for it more faithfully?

A Prayer for Peace

In this world of discord and division, we come together, seeking your grace. May your light shine upon us, guiding our hearts towards understanding and compassion.

Grant us the wisdom to see beyond our differences, to recognize the shared humanity that binds us all. Help us to embrace empathy, to listen and to heal.

In moments of anger, fill us with calm. In times of fear instill hope within us. Let love be our common language and may we work hand in hand to a brighter tomorrow.

Help us to embrace empathy, to listen and to heal.

As we nurture peace within us, may it ripple outwards and touch the hearts of all. Together, let us build bridges instead of walls, creating a world where peace reigns supreme. Amen
